To assess the Vietnam tourism situation and find solutions to recover and unify actions of all levels and sectors to develop tourism in line with the evolution of the Covid-19 epidemic striving to fulfill the development goals set out in the Politburo's Resolution 08 on developing tourism to become a key economic sector and the Vietnam Tourism Development Strategy to 2030, approved by the Government. Approved, in the morning of November 28, 2020, in Quang Nam, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province held a National Conference on Tourism 2020 with the theme “Linking, acting and developing development ”.

VITM Hanoi 2020 with the theme "Digital transformation to develop tourism in Vietnam" - the largest travel event, most anticipated by tourism businesses, people and tourists - has a solemn opening on the morning of November 18 at the Vietnam-Communist Friendship Palace (91 Tran Hung Dao, Hanoi) after being delayed many times due to the influence of the Covid-19 epidemic. Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung delivered a speech and cut the opening ribbon.

This morning (November 18), at the Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace, the opening ceremony of the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2020 was held with the theme "Digital transformation to develop tourism in Vietnam".
